The Rebuilt Foundation
The Rebuilt Foundation exists to restore dignity, rebuild lives, and break cycles of dysfunction caused by trauma, abuse, and life disruption.
Founded by therapist, author, and speaker Dawn Williams, the Foundation was created in response to a growing need for safe, trauma-informed support that goes beyond crisis intervention. While many people survive trauma, far fewer are supported through the long-term process of healing, identity rebuilding, and sustainable life change.
The Rebuilt Foundation exists to bridge that gap.
Our Purpose
The Rebuilt Foundation provides education, support programs, and community-based initiatives that empower individuals and families to heal, regain stability, and build resilient futures.
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed practice, dignity-centred care, and a belief that healing is possible when people are met with safety, structure, and compassion.
We focus on prevention, recovery, and long-term rebuilding rather than short-term fixes.
Who We Support
The Rebuilt Foundation supports:
-
Women recovering from domestic violence, emotional abuse, and betrayal
-
Individuals impacted by childhood dysfunction and intergenerational trauma
-
Single parents and families navigating rebuilding after crisis
-
Communities seeking trauma-informed education and prevention pathways
All programs are designed to be safe, empowering, and non-retraumatising.

What We Do
Trauma-Informed Education
We provide workshops, resources, and training that help individuals and communities understand trauma, emotional regulation, boundaries, and healthy rebuilding.
Advocacy & Awareness
We are committed to raising awareness around emotional abuse, domestic violence recovery, and the long-term impacts of unresolved trauma, while promoting dignity-based solutions.
Healing & Rebuilding Programs
Our programs support participants through structured, staged healing, focusing on emotional stability, identity rebuilding, and forward planning.
Community Support & Access
The Foundation works to reduce barriers to care by offering subsidised programs, group initiatives, and accessible pathways for those who may not otherwise receive support.
Our Approach
The Rebuilt Foundation operates from a trauma-informed, strengths-based framework. We do not define people by what they have endured. Instead, we support individuals to reclaim agency, rebuild self-trust, and move forward with clarity and purpose.
Our approach is:
-
Trauma-informed and evidence-based
-
Dignity-centred and empowering
-
Safe, structured, and respectful
-
Focused on long-term outcomes
Our Vision
We envision communities where people are supported not only to survive trauma, but to rebuild their lives with strength, stability, and hope. Where healing today changes the future for generations to come.
Get Involved
The Rebuilt Foundation welcomes partnerships, community collaborations, donors, and supporters who share our vision for trauma-informed, dignity-centred care.
Together, we can rebuild lives, restore hope, and create lasting change.
Thank You Dawn 🤍
